This year's Magic Celebration is a special no-charge event where new and existing players can get together and celebrate all things Magic: The Gathering.
Join us at Friendly Troll for free gameplay, fun, and prizes! This will be happening in flights of 8-person pods, starting on the hour, every hour 2 hours, while quantities last. Signup is on a first-come-first-served basis. First flight will start at 2pm. Final flight will start at 6pm, while quantities last.

What do I do and what can I get at Magic Celebration?
There is plenty to do and earn while at the Magic 2013 Celebration, including:

• Play in a free Mini-Master event with your friends, compliments of Wizards of the Coast!
• Start with a complimentary Magic 2013 booster pack and earn up to three more!*
• Join your local Magic community as you play complimentary Magic and complete your Celebration Achievement Card.
• Earn the exclusive Magic Celebration Achievement for your Planeswalker Point account!
• Pick up a flyer with a Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 promo code** and a callout for upcoming Magic release, Return to Ravnica!
• Ask your us how you can earn one of the foil paper hats featuring the iconic horns of Magic's ultimate evil mastermind, the dragon Planeswalker Nicol Bolas!

* During the Mini-Master event, you receive an additional booster to add to your deck for each match you win. Each event is three rounds, so you could score a total of up to four Magic 2013 boosters. While supplies last.

What Can I Play?

The Magic 2013 Celebration format is Mini-Master. Mini-Master, also known as "Pack Wars," is a great way to have a lot of fun opening boosters. To play, simply grab three of each basic land, open your booster and add the land to it. Then, find another player and battle!

What Happens There?

When you show up at a Prerelease, you will be given the opportunity to play with the newest cards in the following format:

Sealed Deck — Each player receives six Magic 2013 booster packs to use for building a deck.

What Do I Get?

In addition to the booster packs, each player receives (while supplies last):

1 promo card (Xathrid Gorgon)

What Else Can I Do?

In addition to the main Prerelease Tournament event, we offer open dueling.

Open Dueling — Open Dueling players each receive:
1 Magic 2013 Intro Pack
1 Promo card (Xathrid Gorgon, while supplies last)

Open Dueling players use their Intro Packs to play against each other, as well as Prerelease tournament players who are between matches. All players should be encouraged to help teach Open Dueling participants how to play Magic.

DON'T BE CONFUSED! We will still be holding Friday Night Magic Standard on JULY 6 (Friday). Registration for the midnight pre-release event starts on the same Friday at 11pm. Midnight pre-release event will start 1 hour after, when the clock strikes midnight!
